Sal DiBenedetto CEO / President

Sal DiBenedetto is the CEO and President of The DiBe Companies, a fully integrated real estate firm that acquires, entitles, capitalizes, builds, sells and manages real estate in New York and Florida.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Sal grew up around the neighborhoods where the firm now pursues development, including Gowanus, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill and Red Hook. He built The DiBe Companies on a simple idea: projects perform better when the people who buy them also build them, sell them and stand behind them.

Sal holds real estate broker licenses in both New York and Florida, along with a Florida Certified General Contractor license and a Florida plumbing contractor license. That combination lets him evaluate a deal the way a broker, a developer and a builder would at the same time, from zoning and buildable area to hard costs, schedule and exit.

Under his leadership, the firm operates DiBe Real Estate, a licensed brokerage serving investors, owners and occupiers; DiBe Development & Construction, a ground-up general contractor serving Southwest and Southeast Florida; and Libera Capital Group, which acquires residential and commercial property for cash across Florida. In Brooklyn, the firm is pursuing development opportunities including a three-parcel corner assemblage at Third Street and Bond Street in Gowanus.

Sal works directly with capital partners, landowners and joint-venture partners, and is based between Brooklyn and Fort Myers.
